Tlaquepaque (pronounced Tla-keh-pah-keh) — “the best of everything” — is one of my favorite wedding locations in Sedona. Styled after a Mexican village, Tlaquepaque is a photographer’s paradise. Along with its beautiful chapel, which is perfect for small, intimate weddings, Tlaquepaque is full of stylish courtyards, archways, fountains, a bell tower (which rings whenever couples are married), specialty shops, art galleries, cafes, and cobblestone pathways. The photo above is from a recent wedding I shot in the chapel. To see more wedding photos from Tlaquepaque, go here. To visit Tlaquepaque’s website, go here.
Here are a few photos from a shaman wedding I shot yesterday. The wedding was officiated by Maria Blackwolf in cooperation with Weddings In Sedona. Anthony Flesch played flute while Robert Emerson of Video Alchemy videotaped the wedding. The wedding took place at Back O’ Beyond in Sedona, Arizona.
Just finished adding a few new photos to my photo website. The one above comes from Dawn and Jim’s wedding, which took place October 1st of this year at Enchantment Resort. Here’s the sections to check out for new images: Newest Additions, Enchantment, Couple Portraits, Uqualla.
Steve and Suellen were married on September 4th, 2010. Their wedding took place in Sedona at Los Abrigados. Their reception took place up Oak Creek Canyon at Indian Gardens Park. Since Steve is a well known (and much loved) musician, many of his musician friends joined the reception and fired up their instruments and voices. As the official wedding photographer, I was there to capture the fun. Here’s where you can find a few images from the fantastically entertaining reception. And here’s an impressive image of all the musicians who gathered to celebrate Steve and Suellen’s union.
I spent the last week creating this beautiful website for Rose Marie Lagorio. Rose Marie was a founding member of the Sedona Wedding Professionals Association and recently decided to return to her former life as a wedding officiate. Her new website is one of my favorites. Along with being beautifully designed, it also features a few of my favorite wedding photos. Here’s where Rose Marie’s website is located: Heartfelt Sedona Weddings. Stop by and say hi!
